Leeds Garden Expansion

Making all the right decisions during the planning stage was of utmost importance, as Fitrite tackled a hillside garden expansion in Leeds. 

Project Overview

Part of an ambitious project to breathe some life back into a mid-sized garden space, we were responsible for installing uPVC decking and fencing, while our client also requested a hot tub installation alongside. Complicating matters was the positioning of the garden atop a fairly significant incline, making precise measurements and careful preparation a necessary measure. The client had an exact design in mind, and we worked closely with them throughout this project.

Project Evolution

Our journey unfolded from a modest beginning to a comprehensive transformation:

• Initial Concept: What started as a simple idea to install decking in a limited area of the garden.
• Scale Expansion: The project scope expanded significantly, evolving into a full-scale renovation of the garden, including decking, fencing, and the later addition of a hot tub at our client’s request.

Collaboration and Flexibility: Working in tandem with our client, we seamlessly incorporated the hot tub into the project, showcasing our adaptability to changes.

Execution and Challenges

The project’s execution was meticulously managed, acknowledging the intricate dynamics of building on an incline:

• Precision and Preparation: Our approach was marked by meticulous precision and preparation, accommodating the garden’s incline.
• Installation Process:
  • Ash Grey uPVC panels were installed with precision.
  • Safety fencing was erected to ensure a secure environment.
  • The hot tub area was strategically positioned within a lower deck section, optimising space and aesthetics.

Outcome: The culmination was a visually stunning, structurally sound relaxation area, perfectly aligned with the client’s wishes.

Final Outcome

The transformation achieved more than just a visual makeover:

• Dedicated Relaxation Area: The client was presented with a bespoke garden relaxation area, boasting year-round utility thanks to the durable and weather-resistant qualities of uPVC decking.
